Fundraiser for little Dallas - update

Hello my friends! I want to share with you how did the fundraiser for little Dallas went, since some of you have asked me..

If you remember, this event was held on November 17, and I got a fair amount of participation, granted this was the first time ever that I ran an event like this, but truly, I believe it was worth my time and I felt like I did something to help this sweet family..

Thankfully little Dallas is getting stronger, still in the hospital, however she was able to have her first skin to skin on day 98 of her life.. I know her parents were over the moon as this is one of those moments that you truly cherish all the time, having your little one in your arms is the most rewarding feeling ever..

Little Dallas is now on physical therapy, and while her journey is still long, I am sure she will be overcoming all the challenges she is being presented, she is indeed a strong little baby!

These are some pictures of the event..

Everyone loved the cards being made and enjoyed the evening while making some cards!! :)

And while it was fun to get together for this cause, there were several out of state as well as local people that could not attend this event but still supported me on this event, I am truly thankful that you trusted me and more important that you helped me in raising funds for The Parker Family..

Here is a snapshot of the cards I made for all the ladies that couldn't attend..

I also made a little thank you to put in their packets as I was mailing these since I did not see these ladies to thank them personally.

All packets were mailed on Saturday (12/2) morning and should arrive by Tuesday 12/5, just in time to write and send them to your loved ones if you choose to do so.. :)

Again thank you so much in supporting me and helping me in making this a successful event! I am extremely grateful for all and each of you!.

  1. Hi Allie. It looks like you had a great time. I wanted you to know I got my cards today and they are even better in person. I love them and was happy to be a very small part of your wonderful fundraising effort. It's nice to hear Dallas was able to be touched by her family. Her brother, sister, mother and father look as happy as can be just to be near her. She's darling! I hope she continues to improve at a rapid pace. They all deserve to have her home where they can spoil her with lots of love.
