As you are hopping around with us, be ready to start your shopping list, as I am sure you will love so many new sets from this catalog!! I can promise you, this NEW Holiday catalog is AMAZING!!
The card I made for this event features the First Frost stamp set and the coordinating Frosted Bouquet framelits! As usual you can get them separately or you can get them as a bundle and save 10%.
What I love about this stamp set is that it could be used for holiday-fall related projects but also for any other seasons (spring-summer come in mind). The flowers on this stamp set have a watercolor look, which is so trendy these days! and these flowers have framelits to cut these out!! so no fuzzy cutting for you! LOL
If you pay close attention to the framelits picture above, you will notice that there are two flower framelits that comes double! so you can cut two of the same flower at the same time, which I think it’s a time saver! Is that not cool??
This card was inspired in a card we made at Onstage earlier this year. Onstage is one of the Stampin’ Up! events that happens about twice a year where demonstrators get to see what is coming up, as well as play with some of the upcoming products.
Here you can see the card made at Onstage so you can see it is the same layout! You can see the blog post about this card HERE. There are measurements and step by step instructions!
And here is a close up picture of the card today!! Below are the instructions on how to make this card! 🙂
By the way, the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper is gorgeous!!! the designs are printed on Shimmery white paper, so it has a pearlized look that makes your projects look fantastic! so you really want to get a pack of this! I am sure you will love it as well!
- Fold in half the card base using the bone folder and stamp flowers in gray granite randomly.
- Glue down the Vellum and the designer series paper in an angle, and then add the strip of designer series paper as well as the pearlized doilie. Add the ribbon using glue dots.
- Stamp the sentiment in Tranquil Tide and die cut it with the smaller tag from the Frosted Bouquet framelits, die cut the larger tag from the framelits in Tranquil Tide, glue these tags together so you get a nice border around the sentiment.
- Add the sentiment piece to the front of the card using dimensionals and add pearls as you like.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, as I mentioned earlier, please don’t forget to visit all participating demonstrators on this hop! I promise you, You will fall in love with lots and lots of the new products coming up!
