Peaceful Poppies Suite from Stampin’ Up!

For today’s blog hop I am choosing to share with you three projects using my new favorite suite from the new catalog!! This is the Peaceful Poppies Suite from Stampin’ Up!

I know you will love it, as it has two bundles that coordinate beautifully and the colors included in this suite will make you feel happy!  The Peaceful Poppies designer series paper is just fantastic to make cards!!

The two bundles included in the Peaceful Poppies suite are: The Peaceful Moments Bundle and the Painted Poppies Bundle.  The Peaceful Moments stamp set has mainly sentiments and the Painted Poppies stamp set has the poppies images.

The Painted Poppies stamp set has images that are perfect for so many techniques! and you will see today, that for these three cards I used a simple technique for watercoloring the poppy flowers from this stamp set.

All these cards were made during the Facebook live yesterday night, and I have added below the video so you can see exactly how to make these cards using the Peaceful Poppies suite from Stampin’ Up!

The video tutorial is long as I go over how to make all three cards, but during the first part I show you the Watercoloring technique so you can follow how to make it.

I provided colors for both poppies: The Red flower I used the Poppy Parade and the Real Red Ink pads.  The Purple flower was colored with Gorgeous Grape and Blackberry Bliss ink pads. The leaves were colored using Pear Pizzas and Old Olive ink pads.

I recommend you color all the flowers and leaves at once, then die cut all the images. This will make the assembling of the cards go faster.

Here is the video tutorial where I go step-by-step on how to make these three cards using the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies Suite from Stampin’ Up!. All measurements and colors are shown on the video.

I can tell you that once you start playing with this suite you will not be able to stop!!
