Fundraiser for Dallas Jane Parker

Hello Friends!!  I want to share one of the cards that I am doing at a fundraiser to help a beloved teacher from Oliver’s Day Care.
Her name is April Parker and she recently had a baby girl Dallas Jane Parker, she unfortunately is really sick and has been in the hospital for the last 2 months, Little Dallas is a fighter, without any question!! Below a picture of Mom and Dad holding little Dallas for the first time.

If you want to help me raising funds for this sweet family, you can come to the live event on November 17th if you are local to me (Frisco TX) or you can get the hand made cards, and I will mail them to you..

You can get more details about this event or REGISTER HERE for the live event or to get the hand made cards HERE
The last day to register is November 10th

This is not my original design, I got this from a swap with fellow demonstrators!! I love participating in swaps as I get so many ideas from other people.. I love having multiple samples from sets that I might not even have.. of course after seeing the samples I end up getting those stamp sets, LOL aren’t we all the same???

This card uses the Merry Little Labels Bundle and some of the products from this Merry Little Christmas Suite!
So here is the video tutorial for this card!! I hope you enjoy this video, and even more I hope you help me raising fund to help this beautiful family that is going thru a really difficult time.
As usual you can click on the images below to get any of the products I use, so you can duplicate this card as well, leave me a comment if you have any questions or if there is anything where I can help you.

Quick and easy card for Fall using Vintage leaves stamp set

Hello Friends!! I want to share today another quick and easy card using the vintage leaves stamp set!!, this is not a new set, however I still love this set a lot and it is just perfect for the Fall /  Thanksgiving season don’t you think??

I really love fall colors, I think these are the best colors to combine and to design.. what are your favorite season colors???
You can watch the video tutorial to see how easy it is to make this card, in this particular video I die cut first before stamping, however because the stamp set comes as photopolymer, you can see thru really well and can line up the images really easy with the die cuts, I would probably not recommend to do this when using wood mount or clear mount stamp set, as you might have problems lining up, I thought I would share that piece of advice to make your stamping experience more enjoyable
And as usual I have listed all the products I used on this card, so if you want to duplicate this card and need any of the items I use, you can click on the images and it will take you to my online store where you can purchase these items

Appreciate your support!

Craft Fair at the New Life Community Church in Frisco

Hello Friends!! Just wanted to share my set up for the first craft fair of 2017 season!!!, this was held on October 21 at the New Life Community Church in Frisco.

This is the first year that I attend one of these events by myself, and where I am selling items I make, in the past I have been at scrapbooking conventions, where really is more about showing what we offer, not so much about the items you make, so I was really nervous!! plus I always get intimidated talking with people I don’t know, however if I want to take this business to the next level I have to overcome my fears and trust all will be fine.

Easier said than done! LOL.. anyhow that is the reason I signed up to 5 events already so I don’t back out, I need to stay firm and focus.. Plus I am a firm believer that practice always helps you get more confident on what we do.

The Turnout was extremely low at this event, HOWEVER I think this was the best for me, since it was a good “practice” and it let me see what I need to do in future events, organization wise, things to bring, and things I can improve.. And also there were about 10 real shoppers, and I got to practice my sales speech (wink) and I got to really have more one on one conversations where I could explain in more detail what I offered, I actually got good leads, and I gain some contacts that indicated interest in attending my classes, as well as hosting their own private class, so I think this was a successful event overall..

Now I need to prepare for the next one!! 🙂

Below are some pictures of my table set up, the items that I had for sale, my class display as well as the door prize.

CLICK HERE to see my YouTube Channel, where you can see a lot of the videos to learn how to make the majority of these items!!  all the videos have a link to get all the products needed to duplicate my craft fair items, you can also click on the image below to go to my online store!
