How to make a quick an easy card using Year of Cheer DSP

Hello friends, hope you are enjoying this series of posts where I share the projects we made on our November card class!

If you are local to me (Frisco, TX) you might want to start joining us! these are awesome, plus all the ladies that attend are so great! I always enjoy the talks and the community feel of being crafting together!

The third card was actually "CASED" (aka. Copy and Share Everything) from the holiday catalog, it is on page 36!, so you can get a lot of of ideas from the catalogs themselves, these are awesome tools to get your creative juices going.. when I am not that inspired and its taking longer to create something, I just flip thru the pages of the catalog and see what I like and "case" it.

Its important to note that when "casing" if you don't have a stamp set, embellishment, or cardstock color,  you can always substitute it with whatever you have, like in this case I didn't have the specific stamp set, but I had the Watercolor Christmas stamp set, which I think the font on the sentiments are awesome, so I used that one instead of the Cheers to the Year stamp set that was used in the sample from the holiday catalog..

Everyone loved making this card, I think this is another great card to make multiples of for your Christmas cards, and the foil paper and the DSP is just great, and since you don't really use a lot of these, you actually can get a lot of cards made with one sheet of both the champagne foil paper and the DSP... using the copper washi tape on the borders really accentuate the card..

You can check below the video tutorial for this card, and see how easy and quick this is!!

Let me know if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to help you.. and if you want to get any of the items I use, please click on the images below, these will take you to my online store where you can purchase these items.  As always I appreciate your support :)

Christmas card using Year of Cheer DSP - Merry Christmas Wishes

Hi Friends, Hope you have enjoyed the first card from my November class card!! today I am sharing the second one of them!!

I love this Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper!!, it is just gorgeous and it makes all your projects look so elegant, don't you agree?

For this second card, I used the Santa's Sleigh products, both the framelits to die cut the bow and the reindeer, and the coordinating stamp set for the bow and the sentiment.

You can see this is a really easy to make card, and I am sure this would be perfect if you need to make multiples of the same for your Christmas cards.. Please check the video tutorial below, as this is a fun fold, that you cannot really see from the shown pictures, it is an easy fold but everyone wow about it when they see it! I am sure your recipients will adore getting one of this from you :)

Below is the list of items I use to make this card, if you need to get any of this items you can click on the images below which will take you to my online store where you can purchase any of these items. Appreciate your support as always :)

Let me know if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to help you.

Christmas card with Year of Cheer DSP - Celebrate the Season!!

Hello Friends, During the next following days I will be sharing the cards we made at my last card class!! (shown below) This is my monthly card class that is being held every third Saturday of the month, so if you are local to me  (Frisco TX) you might want to come and join us..

These events are truly fun! I love getting together with friends and make cards.. this month's and next month's will be Christmas cards.. so if you still need to make Christmas cards, consider coming to one of these.. Subscribe to my email list HERE to get the schedule on my upcoming classes.

This card class focused on the Year of Cheer Desingner Series Paper (DSP), I love love love this DSP, every single piece of paper has foil, so the cards are just simply elegant no mater what you create with it! (no kidding)

The first card is really easy to duplicate, I die cut a snowflake from the trim your stockings framelits since the DSP has snowflakes, and the sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set tags and trimmings, this is a great bundle!! and when you get them together you actually save 10% on both items..

I accented the sentiment with shimmer ribbon in black and a little bit of the silver washi tape from the year of cheer collection!

Below is the video tutorial I made about this card around September, when the holiday catalog went live.. Hope you enjoy!!

Let me know if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to help you :)

And if you want to get any of the products I used to recreate this card, you can click on the pictures below, they will take you to my online store where you can purchase any of these items; Appreciate your support :)

How to make a beautiful fall card using the Pick a Pumpkin Bundle

Hello Friends, hope you are having a blast as we all get prepared for thanksgiving!! isn't it crazy how fast time has flown this year??

As I reflect on this holiday, I am truly grateful for so many things, My family, the fact that my little one continues to grow healthy, my supportive husband that is always helping me and cheering me up, our immediate families in Mexico, our home, our jobs, what I have accomplished this year; You might not realize this, but only in June this year I have decided to launch my online business and I had to learn so much, YouTube, Facebook and Blogging, oh man, there has been so many long nights hehehe, but I am truly happy with how this is growing.. slowly but surely.. I honestly enjoy doing the videos and I really love helping others get inspired with what I do.. it cheer me up when I am down, knowing that others like and get inspiration with what I create.. such a great feeling..

So for today and with the holiday almost here, I want to share another quick and easy card for Fall, you can easily change the sentiment to Happy Thanksgiving, don't you think?

What are your favorite Thanksgiving traditions??  being from Mexico, where we do not celebrate this holiday, makes it hard to really know about traditions for Thanksgiving, however, now that Oliver is here, I want to start having our own traditions so that he gets to celebrate this holiday.. so it would be nice if you share your traditions so that we can choose which ones to incorporate for our own family..

I deviated a lot!!.. Back to the card, I used the pick a pumpkin bundle, which is one of my favorites!! no kidding!!! the coordinating framelits are really so stinking cute!! and makes it so easy to design projects with it..

As usual there is a video tutorial, where I show you how to make this card, you can follow along and you will see this is really easy to put together, no kidding.. Leave me a comment if you have any questions and also sharing your thanksgiving traditions.. I would love to learn about these..

Below is the list of items I use to make this card, you can click on the images and these will take you to my online store where you can purchase any of these items, I appreciate your support.

How to make a quick and easy card using Stampin' Blends

Hello friends!! I am participating for the first time ever on a blog hop!! I am excited to see how this works, as everyone comments that this is a great way to share our creations with more people, and I truly enjoy sharing what I love with all of you..

So today I am sharing a quick and easy card using the brand new Stampin' Blends!! These are great alcohol markers and they are perfect for coloring as you get vibrant colors and cannot see the strokes you make as you are coloring, also you can do shading and so these are just fantastic for your  paper crafting creations.. I promise you, you will love coloring once you try them..

The picture below shows the colors I use for this card, these are Old Olive (Dark and Light), Daffodil Delight (Dark and Light), Pool Party Light and the color lifter which as its name states, it pick up the color and so you add even more life when shadowing..

As with everything, there is a little learning curve, but this is easy, you just need to play with them and see what you like or don't... But to help you a bit you can see this video tutorial, where I share a few of my tips when coloring.. there is no right or wrong when using Stampin' Blends, you just have to start coloring to find out what works best for you.

Let me know what you think of this card, did you like it? was this video tutorial helpful? leave me a comment if you have any question or if there is anything you would like me to feature on my blog.. Facebook Live November 4 2017 - Christmas projects

Here are the projects from one of my Facebook live events..  I hold these events on Thursdays at 7pm Central time on my Facebook page.. CLICK HERE to like my page and follow it so you get notifications when I go live!! I would love for you to join me on one of these events.. these are always fun..

This is the card I made using the tags and trimmings set!!, I fot inspired by a card that Connie Collins made, so I had to give it a try and make my version of it.. :)

It is always fun that we can case among demonstrators!!, (CASE AKA Copy and Share Everything), as we can inspire one another, you don't have to come up with all the items you make, if you ever stress about this, then go Pinterest or to your favoring Stamping blog and check out the card/projects you like and then you can recreate or you can modify with what you have in your stash.. This is one of my biggest tips when trying to design something and I am simply not feeling creative that day.. so give it a try and let me know if this helped you :)

These treat bags are my favorite project from this session!!, I absolutely adore the coffee break bundle (which is the one I use to cut out the little coffee cups) this is super cute and easy to make..
This is another item that I have taken to my craft fairs, and People loves it!! It hold packet of hot cocoa..

I made these using plain cardstock and I did the one below using retired designer series paper (DSP), since this was for a craft fair I really like using my retired paper, as this helps me deplete my stash as well since I cannot really use it for classes.. so it is a win-win situation for me.. :)

So check out the Facebook live video to learn how to make both the card as well as the hot cocoa pouches..
Hope you like these projects

Leave me a comment if you have any question.. also if you want to get any items of the ones I use on my projects you can click to any of the images below and it will take you to my online store where you can purchase these items..

Appreciate your continued support, this is what makes it possible for me to keep crafting and sharing with you :)

Hello stamping friends!! Today is the last day to sign up for the fundraiser event I am holding to help this beautiful family that is currently going thru a really difficult time, April Parker, who is one of the teachers at Oliver's daycare, recently had a baby girl, Dallas Jane Parker, but she is sick and has been in the hospital for 11 weeks already.

Little Dallas is a strong fighter and yesterday's update mentioned that Dallas will go home, if all goes as planned, by January 4th, ot by  Christmas as they were thinking, there are a lot things that have to be in place for them to bring her home, as she will be home with a ventilator..

Her journey is still long as she will need to have a lot of health care at home, this Family is truly strong and needs our support, so I ask you to please help me joining me in this fundraiser.. you can learn more about her story by CLICKING HERE

The fundraiser is a card class that will be held in La Madeleine  Frisco TX on Nov 17th at 5:30 pm, so if you are local to me you can attend this event live, you don't have to be crafty, or creative, these cards are super easy to put together :) and I promise you will have fun during this evening.
If you are not local to me but you want to help me I am offering making these cards and mailing them to you as well

A card for a friend going thru breast cancer.

Hello Friends!!, I want to share a card I made for a friend who recently found out she has breast cancer. She has a great attitude towards it and is giving a fight. I am always so impressed by people who puts on their best attitude despite the situation, and this is no exception..

I thought of sending her a note of encouragement to tell her that I am with her and that I keep her on my thought and prayers.. I truly believe that we can do the difference with our loved ones when we take the time and handmade a card to tell them that we care, I know I love receiving cards, but when these are handmade it makes me feel more special, cause I know that person took the time to create a one of a kind card!!

Here is a close up look of the card; I used the ribbon of courage and coordinating framelits for this card, I really like the simplicity of this card..

I also have the video tutorial to show you how to make this card.. Hope you enjoy it

Leave me a comment if you have any questions :)  also below there is a list of items I used to make this card, so if you want to get any of these items you can click on the images below, which will take you to my online store where you can get any of these items.. I appreciate your support :)
