Go for Greece Blog Hop

Hello Friends !! Today I am participating in the Go To Greece Blog Hop! where demonstrators around the globe will be showing some projects using Stampin’ Up! products!! so be sure to visit all the blogs participating as I am sure you will get a lot of inspirations from all the demonstrators participating on this hop!

My card today features the Truly Tailored Bundle as well as the True Gentleman designer series paper! I love this suite a lot as it is very masculine and the colors are just really great cards made for the men of your life, Don’t you agree?

Now this card is not my original design, I actually got the inspiration from Pinterest, though I honestly don’t know the original creator of this card, as the pin I found was not referencing the person that designed it.  Anyway, I love going to Pinterest to get inspiration on cards, sometimes I case them completely, and sometimes just the lay out.. there are so many ideas to get inspired immediately!

Using the designers series paper as the background really makes this card shine! the paper is gorgeous! and it complements really well the stamped image.. I stamped the little bow in chocolate chip and then fussy cut it with the paper snips, though you an also cut one of the bows on the designer series paper, don’t you think?

Here is the video tutorial where I show you how to make this card, you can see this is super easy to recreate!! let me know if you have any questions..

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog today, don’t forget to visit all the participating blogs on this hop!! I am sure you will enjoy seeing all the creations featured in this blog hop!! there are so many talented demos participating!! you can see the full line up below..

Lots of lovely stamp set – Retiring soon!!!

Hello Friends!!, this week I am featuring two stamp sets, the first three projects of the week will be using the lots of stamp set, and the following three are going to be using the blooms & wishes stamp set!!, so make sure you visit my blog during this week to see all the beautiful projects I had made with these sets..

Please remember that these products are retiring at the end of May, however these are while supply last, so some items are going away already, like the coordinating designer series paper from this collection.. so don’t wait until end of May as these might be gone by then..

This suite is one of my favorites, and I love using the sentiment sending lots of love as the focal point!, I love the big bold sentiment as it makes card making so easy.. don’t you agree?

The flowers on this set are also so beautiful, and I loved layering them up, I think that adding some dimension to the card makes them pop up even more!

You can see the video tutorial on this card!, I am sure you will enjoy watching how easy and quick this is..

Also here is the supply list for all the items I use to make these cards, you can click at any of the images to go to my online store, where you can purchase any of these items!! thanks a lot!! I truly appreciate your support, also don’t forget….

The Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop – Bon Voyage Retiring In-Colors

Hello Friends!! Today I am participating in the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for April 2018. This month our theme is Bon Voyage Retiring In-Colors!  You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Alejandra Gomez – www.creatingwithallie.com or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

Here are the In-colors that are retiring at the end of May, with the exception of Flirty Flamingo that is returning and will be available as part of our core colors!!!

The card that I am sharing today is featuring the Emerald Envy as this is my favorite color from the Retiring In-color 2017-2018. I honestly will miss this color!!!
The designer series paper on this pack is the naturally eclectic, which is as well retiring, this is one of my favorite packs as it has a watercolor look and is full of beautiful colors, so it can be used in lots of cards for multiple occasions.

Same as with the paper, the stamp set I chose is retiring!, this is Birthday blooms and it is also one of my favorites, I love the mixed fonts on the sentiments and the flower images are as well very beautiful, you can do  a lot of coloring techniques with this images.. so I found it to be very versatile.. 🙂

For this card I chose to color with the stampin’ blends, I love using our new alcohol markers, and I know for the time being you cannot order them, but they are coming back sometime in May, and in the new catalog Stampin’ Up! is releasing a lot more new colors!!! I am super excited to get more options for colors in the blends, as they are converted in my favorite technique for coloring!! I love that I don’t see the strikes when I am coloring and I enjoy the blending of colors..

Dimensions: The card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ folded in half (and it is in Emerald Envy), the next layer is lemon lime twist and it measures 3 3/4′ x 5″, from this piece I die cut the scallop circle from layering circles, and the designer series paper measures 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″, then I die cut the largest circle from the stitched shapes framelits in whisper white, and also cut a strip of the lemon lime glimmer paper that is about 1″x 4″, cut both ends to make the banner flags.

Stamp the images in the whisper white circle with the Memento Ink pad, and then color the flowers using the stampin’ blends, and to add a little more to the flowers I used the wink of stella!! you can see in the close up the shimmery look that it will give to the flowers!! Believe me all things look better with Wink of Stella 😉

To embellish the focal point of my card, I added sequins from the tutti-fruit backed adhesive sequins, these are easy to add and I always feel like it adds more to a card.. these come in 5 colors (berry burst, lemon lime twist, so saffron, soft sky, pumpkin pie), so you get a good variety of sequins for your card making..

Hope you have enjoyed this card!! Most of the items used in this card are retiring so if any of these items are in your wish list, don’t forget to order them right away as once they are gone, they are gone for good.. 🙂
Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently, you are on my blog – Alejandra Gomez – www.creatingwithallie.com, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next on the list.
