SDBH - Annual Catalog Sneak peek - Graceful Glass Stamp set!!

Hello Friends!! Today I am participating in the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop where demonstrators from around the world will be showcasing projects using BRAND NEW products from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.. this new catalog will be released on June 1st!! And I can't wait for you to see what is in store for you!! this is an awesome NEW catalog!! Though You can always sign up in May and preview it soon!! (wink, wink)

One of the perks as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is that we get to order selected products with our discount prior to the annual catalog being released and so for this blog hop you will see us using these products for you to see a sneak peek of upcoming products!

So for my card today, I am using the Graceful Glass Suite!, this one has a stamp set called Painted Glass and has coordinating thinlits, which are named Stained Glass thinlits, both of these items will be available on a bundle where you would save 10% or you can get them separately!

The card I am showing today follows my style of quick and simple cards, though it looks really nice!!  don't you agree?? I am really embracing the quick and simple style as I really don't have much time to craft, I am sure you can relate to me as well, you love to craft but there is just so little time to do so.. :)

Check out blog post with instructions on how to make this card with TIPS and Tricks for making handmade cards using Stampin Up's Graceful Glass Suite! You will love how quick and easy this is to make! www.creatingwithallie.com #stampinup #alejandragomez #creatingwithallie #videotutorial #cardmaking #papercrafts #handmadegreetingcards #fun #creativity #makeacard #sendacard #stampingisfun #sharewhatyoulove #thankyoucards #brandnewproducts #sneakpeekproducts

Here is a close up image from the focal point, I actually heat embossed the stamped image in basic black, which by the way is returning in the annual catalog this year!! YAY!!, and then cut this piece out with the 2" circle punch, I used markers and stampin' blends to color it..  For a finished touch I added a little rhinestone to the center of this piece.

Lovely Lipstick card front 3 3/4" x 5"
Lemon Lime Twist scrap 1" x 3 1/2"

  1. Stamp the Thank you image onto the lovely lipstick card front and glue this onto basic black mat (remember to die cut from this piece the half circle die from the the Stained Glass Thinlits! - this will save you paper)

  3. Stamp the circle image in versamark onto the scrap of whisper white and then apply the basic black embossing powder and heat emboss it, color the image with blends and markers to your preference, in my example I used the lemon lime twist and berry burst markers and the lovely lipstick light shade and pool party dark shade stampin' blends, punch out this image using the 2" circle punch
  4. Using the fine-tip glue pen add the die cut to the card front
  5. Cut the ends of the lemon lime twist strip to make the banner on both ends of this piece and glue it to the card front right above the half circle die cut, then add the black cord onto this piece, folding it in a long zig zag, and finally add with dimensionals the stamped/punched piece
  6. To finish the card, add the tutti-frutti adhesive-backed sequins to your liking
