The Joy of Sets Blog Hop - August 2018

Hello Friends!!, today I am participating in "The Joy of Sets - Blog Hop". We will be showcasing products from the annual catalog, so be sure to follow all the arrows and visit all the blogs! I am sure you will get tons of inspiration for your paper craft projects!
The card I am showcasing today uses two stamp sets, Bokeh Dots and the Rooted in Nature! I love how well both of these sets complemented each other on this card. Don't you think?
Check out the video tutorial showing you how to make a quick and easy card, where I show you tips and tricks for using Stampin Up's Nature’s poem suitel! You‘ll love how quick and easy this is to make! www.creatingwithallie.com #stampinup #alejandragomez #creatingwithallie #videotutorial #cardmaking #papercrafts #handmadegreetingcards #fun #creativity #makeacard #sendacard #stampingisfun #sharewhatyoulove #handmadecards #friendshipcards

I used the Stamparatus for the Bokeh Dots stamp. This is a great tip when stamping larger images! as you can re-stamp the image without any worry that the stamp won't line up. Using the stamparatus ensures perfect images over and over! You should try it next time!
I used the marker coloring technique to color the tree image. you can see it gives the tree some dept and reality looking. This technique is super easy and and it gives a wow factor to your stamping! Give it a try on your next project, I am sure you will love it! You can see the step by step tutorial for this technique on the video below!
Also, did you notice the sequins on this card? These are from the basic adhesive-backed sequins. This pack comes in subtle colors but they go well with other color families from our annual catalog! Make sure you get a pack of this embellishments, they sure make the embellishment of the cards super easy!
