Hello Friends!! Today I am participating on Kylie’s Demonstrator training, and while there is not an specific theme for this hop, I am sure you will really enjoy hopping with us and see all the beautiful projects we are sharing on this blog hop, plus you will get to know lots of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world! how exciting is that!
The card I am featuring in my blog today is to show you how easy card making is with the Snowfall thinlits dies. This die set is part of the Snowflake Showcase promotion.
Over the next few days I will be showing you some cards I have been making with the Snowflake showcase products!! Believe me, these products are really great for lots of type of cards, as there is a stamp set for Winter and one that is more for Spring/Summer time frame, so these can be used for lots of occasions.. you can see all the products on this promotion HERE
The snowfall thinlits dies can be paired with lots of your Christmas stamp sets, as you can see on this card! In this case I paired it with the Feathers & Frost stamp set! is this card not gorgeous?? seriously!! I love how this one looks!!
I used one of the cards out of the Silver Foil-Edged cards and envelopes pack. What I like about this card pack, is that I can get that elegant look that the silver foil edge gives to cards without having to use a really large piece of silver foil sheets on it, I always feel like I would waste so much of this gorgeous paper and only little show up, so most of the time I end up not adding the foil to my projects this way.
The large snowflake was die cut with silver glimmer paper and the little snowflake was cut with velveteen paper, which sadly has already retired, it was such a great product that it sold out really fast.. so if you like any of the products from the Snowflake Showcase promotion don’t wait too long as these are while supply lasts..
One thing to know is that when die cutting the snowflakes you want to use the precision base plate as these dies are very intricate, and you can use the big shot die brush has well to help you remove all the little pieces from the snowflake this really saves lots of time. 🙂
This card was part of my Facebook live event at the beginning of November.. If you didn’t know I do a Facebook live every Thursday at 7pm CST on my facebook page HERE where I show you how easy it is to make cards, I usually do three cards, and this event was no exception, so here is the video where you can see these three cards, I go over measurements and instructions on the video!
